In the article I read a non profit organizatio0n called Defense Distributed, came out with  program for 3D printers that allowed you to print you own hand gun. The gun they made called "The Liberator" is made from a durable plastic is able to shoot up to five bullet before it starts to fragment. soon after the program came out it was forced to be taken down by the U.S. but not after there were over 100,000 downloads.
